To find out who is viewing your VOD, look for the small green image of a monitor at the bottom right of your directory. It's the one furthest to the left.
If it shows a dark green monitor (as shown above), you have no people VODing you. If it shows a bright green monitor with a number (as shown above), you have viewers (the number shows how many viewers you have).
If it shows a red monitor with a number (as shown above) you have reached the limit of how many people can view your VOD (video on demand). New people will only be able to view you if you do one of the following:
Clicking on the bright green / red monitor image will display the list of current viewers
You can either click on Hangup All Incoming Video Connections so that you kick everyone from viewing you. They can re-request to view you again though. Or you can select a specific user from the list and you will get the options below:
Hang Up Video Only Call - will stop that specific person from viewing you until they re-request to view.
|
To talk (or play music) to everyone in the Chat Lobby click on the Talk button
If the Talk button is grey (as shown above), no one is the Current Speaker.
If the Talk button is green, you are the current speaker and everyone in the Chat Lobby will hear you
If the Talk button is Red and there is already a Current Speaker, it means you are Queued to be the current speaker. After 30 seconds or so, you will become the Current Speaker, assuming you were next in the queue. If the Talk button is Red and there is no Current Speaker, there are several possible causes. A moderator may have set to the lobby to only accept Talk requests from Moderators or Demi-Gods. Or you may have been blocked from becoming the Current Speaker for x amount of minutes, hours, days due to something you may have said or done while being the Current Speaker previously. |
Users with fast internet connections may want to increase their Maximum Viewers Limit for Video on Demand.
If the bottom right of your ICUII window shows a red monitor with a number (as shown above) you have reached the limit of how many people can view your VOD (video on demand). New people will only be able to view you if you increase your Maximum Viewers Limit. To increase the Maximum Viewers Limit. go to Settings | Options | Calls & QMs.
In the Multi-User Settings. You can either increase or decrease the Maximum Simultaneous Users to suit your requirements.
|
Each user has the option to broadcast Video On Demand. When they speak in the chatroom you can right click on their name and select Show Users Video. You will not be able to view a user's VOD if:
|
To mute the current speaker, so that you cannot hear their audio click on the icon of the speaker, shown to the left of "Current Speaker"
If the speaker icon looks the same as above, you will be able to hear audio from whoever is the Current Speaker.
If the speaker icon has a red X by it (shown above). You will not hear the audio coming from the Current Speaker. It can sometimes take a few seconds for the audio to stop, after muting the Current Speaker. These settings stay that way until you change them manually. So remember that the current speaker may change from time to time and you may want to to un-mute the new Current Speaker. |
To turn your VOD on and off, click on the camera icon shown below:
If the camera icon looks the same as above, anyone in the chat lobby can view you unless you have them on your ignore list. Also, the amount of people VODing you is limited by the number specified in Settings | Options | Calls & QMs for Maximum simultaneous users.
If the cameras has a red X by it (shown above). Users cannot VOD you. The exception to this rule is if you are viewing someone elses Video on Demand. If that person tries to view your VOD, they will be permitted to view you. The maximum simultaneous users amount is also ignored in this instance. |
Right click on the user you'd like to remove and select "Hang Up Video Only Call" |
If you don't want to be part of the Chat Lobby, you can turn it off so that the Chat Lobby disappears (you also can't do Video on Demand (send or receive). To turn the Chat Lobby on / off click on the button that has an arrow pointing at it:
When the Chat Lobby is turned off, you will only see the Mini Profile (if active), the directory listing and your Pal List.
